The Setting
Our nursery is located just a few minutes walk away from the new location of Barnet & Southgate College, as well as Colindale Underground Station. We have moved premises in Sept 2016, specifically for the convenience of parents who will be attending the College.
The gated outdoor areas allow the children to have freedom of play so that they not only enjoy the physical activities, but also develop in all the 7 areas of learning.
Physical skills are developed in the grassy area, which contains a large climbing frame with slides and swings. The soft floor area, containing bikes, balls and other turn-taking activities helps them develop their social skills. The rear outdoor area is used for gardening, den-building, construction, role play etc. This is the most important play area of all as it allows them free access at any time of the day.
Staff Members
All our members of staff are suitably qualified to ensure that your child has the best opportunity to develop in a safe and stimulating environment.
ALL staff members are DBS checked and hold a valid First Aid and Food & Hygiene certificates
Food & Nutrition
Parents are requested to provide healthy packed lunches for their child.
Fruits and vegetables are provided along with milk and water at the ‘open snack bar’ for the children throughout the day.
Our nursery can provide healthy meal options and can cater for all dietary needs. Please contact us for further details.
A Healthy Lunch Box
Lunch boxes should not include crisps, sweets, chocolates or fizzy drinks. Please include one main meal – like sandwiches / rice / pasta etc and the sides can be yogurts / fruit / cheese, etc.
